Discovery, Mindset, Transformation Coaching and Support Service

We work with individuals and teams who want to strengthen how they lead, communicate, and navigate growth within their environments.

Whether it’s building confidence as an emerging leader, improving team dynamics, or gaining clarity around direction, the focus is on practical, sustainable progress — not quick fixes or surface-level solutions.

Our Philosophy

DMT Coaching and Support Services is built on the belief that meaningful growth comes from understanding how people experience pressure, change, and the environments they work within — not just from applying more information or strategies.

We specialise in supporting individuals and teams within disability and community services, where complexity, competing demands, and constant change are part of everyday work. In these environments, growth isn’t always about capability — it’s often about clarity, direction, and having the right support to navigate what’s already in front of you.

Our work focuses on emerging leaders, team dynamics, and sustainable growth. We support people to define direction, strengthen their approach, and build confidence in how they lead, communicate, and implement change within their teams.

While change is a consistent part of the work, our approach isn’t about forcing it — it’s about understanding how it’s experienced, how it shapes behaviour, and how to work with it in a way that reduces resistance and builds alignment.

We take a flexible and adaptive approach, recognising that no two individuals, teams, or environments operate the same way. Rather than applying off-the-shelf models, we focus on what is practical, relevant, and sustainable within the context people are actually working in.

Our aim is to help people move forward with clarity, confidence, and a stronger understanding of how to navigate growth — both individually and within their teams.

Meet the Founder and Director

Dion is a coach with a background in psychology and over a decade of experience working across Early Childhood Development and the disability sector.

He has spent more than 7 years working alongside the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), including as a Partner in the Community (PiTC), supporting families, professionals, and services across Brisbane, Logan, Redlands, and the Gold Coast.

Through this work, Dion has developed a strong understanding of the realities people are navigating — balancing competing demands, managing complexity, and working within systems that don’t always provide clear direction. His experience includes working with hearing loss, complex physical and medical disabilities, and a wide range of developmental and social challenges.

This background shapes how he approaches coaching. Rather than relying on theory alone, Dion focuses on what is practical, relevant, and sustainable within the environments people are actually operating in.

His work centres on helping individuals and teams step back, gain clarity, and strengthen how they approach leadership, communication, and growth — without adding unnecessary pressure or complexity.

My Approach in Practice

  • My approach is grounded in creating space to think clearly, rather than rushing toward solutions.

In many environments, things move quickly — decisions are made under pressure, conversations happen without enough clarity, and people are expected to adapt without fully understanding what’s changing or why. Over time, this creates noise instead of direction.

The way I work is about slowing that down where it matters.

    That might look like:

    • Stepping back to understand what’s actually happening beneath the surface.

    • Separating what feels urgent from what is important.

    • Identifying where pressure is coming from, rather than just reacting to it.

    • Focusing on practical steps that can be applied immediately within your environment.

I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Every individual, team, and setting operates differently, so the work is always shaped around what is realistic and relevant to you.

At the same time, this isn’t a passive process. There is a focus on accountability, reflection, and applying what comes out of the work — not just talking about it.

The goal is to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and a stronger way of approaching challenges, rather than relying on temporary fixes.

  • This work is suited to individuals and teams who are open to stepping back and looking at things differently.

It tends to resonate with people who:

    • Want clarity and direction, not just more information.

    • Are willing to reflect on how they approach challenges, not just the challenges themselves.

    • Value practical, realistic support that can be applied within their environment.

    • Are open to accountability and taking action on what comes out of the work.

  • This approach may not be the right fit for everyone.

It may not suit those who:

    • Are looking for quick fixes or immediate answers without deeper exploration.

    • Prefer highly structured, one-size-fits-all programs.

    • Are not ready to reflect on their own role in challenges or change.

    • Want solutions provided without being actively involved in the process.

Examples of Work in Practice

The work I do is grounded in real-world experience supporting individuals and families through complex situations.

During my time working alongside the NDIS, I supported families navigating significant challenges, helping them build clarity, stability, and direction.

The story below is one example of that work in practice.

Our Values

  • Adaptability

We recognise that no two individuals, teams, or environments operate the same way.
Our approach is shaped around what is practical and relevant to each situation, rather than applying fixed models or rigid frameworks.

  • These values shape how we approach every conversation, decision, and piece of work.

  • Connection

Strong outcomes come from understanding people, not just processes.
We prioritise building genuine connection so that conversations are grounded, relevant, and aligned with what matters most.

  • Clarity

    Progress starts with clarity.

We focus on helping people step back, understand what’s actually happening, and move forward with direction —not just momentum.

  • Patience

    Meaningful change doesn’t happen instantly.

We create space for reflection, understanding, and sustainable progress, rather than rushing toward short-term solutions.

  • Respect

We work with people as they are — not where they’re expected to be.

Every experience, perspective, and challenge is approached with respect, without judgement or assumption.
