Trying to understand your child can be difficult, especially if they’re your first.
What parts are the things they’ve learnt from others, their personality coming through and forming, their way of asking for help and what are the things that are happening that neither of you can explain?
Parenting is far from easy or straight forward and it’s ok to ask questions and not understand sometimes.
What am I Paying For and How Does it Help?
The CRA is is designed to help families with young children understand and navigate their child's development with confidence.
This service is provided through the following processes:
Structured developmental assessment and discussion with you (approximately 2 hours).
Review of any reports or evidence provided.
Provision of a written report outlining the developmental and functional picture identified through the review, along with recommendations and potential next steps (within two weeks of your appointment date).
What’s In The Report?
The report provided is there to provide clarity around what’s happening for your child and assist you in:
Identifying what migh be age appropriate
What to monitor
What areas are worth investigating for support
Tips and strategies to get you started
It will also include what your options are for support with recommended actions.
The information provided can be used to help:
Clinical supports such as GP, paediatrician or allied health teams
Help support a referral to a paediatrician
Help access a Chronic Condition Management Plan through your GP
Support conversations at day-care or school
Support applications to the NDIS.
Who is Dion Tobi?
Dion Tobi works as a Support Coordinator and understands child development and the NDIS from inside the sector.
He knows how confusing accessing supports can look when you're first getting started and how overwhelming the NDIS can be.
Instead of giving you another giant list of things to research, Dion helps you work through what actually needs to be done.
You can ask questions along the way and get clear answers in normal English.

How It Works
1. Complete your developmental review
Spend approximately two hours with Dion working through your child's development, strengths, support needs and any concerns you have.
2. Dion reviews your information
Dion will review what you've discussed alongside any documents you've provided and piece the information together into a clear written report.
3. Know your next step
You'll receive your report within two weeks, with recommendations and a clearer understanding of what happens from here.
